Atlanta Jazz Festival Society &
Board of Directors
Ancillary Programming Leadership, Civic Partnership & Fundraising Strategy
Dynasty Creatives was contracted by the Atlanta Jazz Festival Society Board of Directors to oversee ancillary programming for the Atlanta Jazz Festival and to strengthen the alignment between cultural production, membership engagement, and fundraising strategy.
Led by Colby Wilson, an arts and culture executive with experience in municipal festival production and nonprofit leadership, Dynasty brings a systems-level approach to cultural programming — bridging governance, public-private partnerships, and community-centered engagement.
Ancillary Programming Oversight
Dynasty Creatives oversees key year-round initiatives that expand the Atlanta Jazz Festival’s footprint and deepen civic impact.
31 Days of Jazz is a citywide activation initiative that amplifies venues, artists, and cultural partners throughout Atlanta during the month of May. Under Dynasty’s oversight, the initiative is strategically positioned to support Society membership growth, donor engagement, and revenue development — integrating visibility campaigns, calls-to-action, and benefit awareness into programming.
Dynasty also oversees and supports the Neighborhood Jazz Series, a community-based concert platform co-sponsored by the City of Atlanta’s Office of Cultural Affairs and individual Atlanta City Councilmembers. Each concert is produced in collaboration with a hosting councilmember and presented in their district park, expanding equitable access to live jazz while strengthening civic partnerships and neighborhood engagement.
These initiatives are structured not simply as performances, but as ecosystem-building platforms — increasing brand visibility, cultivating audiences, and reinforcing long-term sustainability for the Society.
Board & Fundraising Collaboration
Dynasty Creatives works directly with the Board of Directors and the Society’s fundraising group to translate vision into execution. The firm provides strategic alignment between programming, governance priorities, and revenue targets.
This includes:
Supporting board and committee-level planning frameworks
Aligning ancillary programming with membership and development objectives
Strengthening member communications and benefit fulfillment systems
Coordinating cross-sector collaboration between the Society, the Office of Cultural Affairs, sponsors, and stakeholders
Through this integrated approach, programming, membership engagement, and fundraising operate as a unified strategy — positioning the Atlanta Jazz Festival Society for sustained growth, expanded cultural reach, and measurable impact.
